Thanks Dee. Yes the "Mystic" flowers for sure can be considered "un" Dahlia like ;).

They do grow very tall as our much more established Mystic Illusion is over 4 feet tall....in a pot. It is bright yellow (not orange) flowers and each of the Mystic plants have the dark foliage.

Oh, so these DO get tall! I guess I assumed they were the smaller, shorter variety. Really do like the foliage - so different from the "regular" green foliage!

I bought one of these this summer and love it! Going to try to save it and overwinter the tuber.

I over wintered our pot of "Illusion" last winter 'easily'.
