Thank you so much. It's a male winteberry. I used to have a female, but it was under the eaves, got whacked by ice falling off the roof often enough that it always looked awful. I transplanted it, but it didn't come back the year after. Maybe it was a volunteer from when I had a female, maybe it was planted as the female's mate.

I have thought about getting a (female) winterberry, hoping there are enough wild males in the area. Now, I don't have to hope.
