In zone 6 I doubt you'll see ripe tomatoes before the 4th of July (my typical ripening time here in Z-7). Those tomatoes in the pics still look a bit immature, check back in again here in 2-3 weeks.

Tomatoes will get red more slowly when the temperature is high. With temps in the 90s, the pigments responsible for the red color aren't produced as effectively. Yet another reason to harvest fruit after first blush, or at mature green, to let them redden more completely indoors, ideally in the presence of some ethylene producing fruit, like bananas. With temps in the high 90s, my cherries never get completely red on the vine. Just dark orange. I harvest and finish 'em off on the windowsill.

On average tomatoes take around 50 days from pollination to ripe. It varies by variety and weather conditions with Cherry tomatoes taking around 35-40 days and larger fruit maybe 8 weeks.

Dan made good points. Optimal ripening conditions are on the 70s but I seldom see those temps in July and August when mine are ripening.

Bottom line, if you want to eat ripe tomatoes in the next 2-3 weeks you're going to have to find some at a farm stand or market that were started early in a hoop house. There are Amish growers that always have ripe tomatoes around here in mid June.

Those first fruits are always maddeningly slow to ripen, IMPE. But as stated above, be patient 😊
