For our laundry sink, I put in the same basic single-handle Kohler faucet (Coralais) as in our kitchen, but with no side sprayer. Our basement utility sink is an even more basic two handle Kohler utility sink faucet. We don't miss the pull the sprayer or no-touch controls at either location.

If it is a large sink ( one big enough to bathe a small dog), then a sprayer of some sort would be very handy. Our laundry room sink is small and just has a ca. 1985 Delta (brand) basic faucet that has served me very well. Heck, I'm just grateful to have a sink in there! LOL
