Help with painting cabinets/walls with macabus quartzite as backsplash

Hello! I would love advice as we move into our new home and we make tweaks with paint colors of cabinets and walls! Goal: To lighten and brighten and be more uniform.

The backsplash will be replaced with the same macabus white quartzite that is on the counter top and island. (This has been purchased and set up and will not change).

Right now, the cabinets are a 3 combo (wow) 1-painted SW repose grey (looks white in picture) which I do like and all the trim of the home is this same Repose grey, 2-one section stained same as floors and doors and 3-hood and island are a charcoal grey. Right now the walls are mindful grey which is much too dark for me in this home.

Idea #1: Paint all cabinets repose grey. Walls:SW Gossamer Veiil which is a lighter warmer version of Repose. I have seen this in a model home and really liked it.

Idea #2: Paint all cabinets SW repose grey and walls SW Eider white

Idea #3: Paint all cabinets and walls SW Eider white

Idea #4: Paint all cabinets and walls SW Gossamier Veil, which gives a very uniform trim, wall, cabinet look.

I also am thinking of leaving the back cabinet as the wood stain that matches the door and the current floors. Floors will be refinished in the future possibly though, and I am open to doing that immediately.

Before deciding anything else make sure all the lighting is LED 4000k that will mimic bright daylight and keep all the colors true.To mee the off thing are the cabinets stained to match the floor . But IMO wait for a bit before going crazy since the layout of that kitchen is not ideal and usually waiting to see how a space functions for you is a good idea. BTW staggered cabinets are a very dated look

Thank you for your feedback. Maybe I should wait to paint? I do know the staggered cabinets are dated, but not in the budget to change right now. or, Maybe its just as expensive to buy all new cabinets instead of paint which will be 9,000 quoted. I appreciate your time! Thank you!

You have a lovely home! I do think updating your backsplash and painting your cabinets a uniform lighter color will go a looong way! I'm not sure which of those whites is best--it would be whatever coordinates best with your counters/backsplash. I know a lot of designers on here suggest that cooler LED lighting for kitchens (and I understand why), but anything cooler than 3000K for me and I feel like I'm living inside of a Target store. Everything in my house, including kitchen is 2700K--it's a personal preference and I just am sensitive to it. You may not be and 4000K might work great.

Can you paint just the dark gray cabinets and hood to match the light gray cabinets?

I like that idea. Thank you. Would you paint the stained as well? That is what I am planning to do?
