We are building on Lake Huron Michigan and we were just asked to solidify the deck details. The architect included a deck in his drawings, but now we have friends/family giving opinions on how the deck should have levels to make it more interesting. Obviously, that also adds to the cost. So I thought I'd reach out to all the smart people here and see if there were any thoughts on the current plan or any way to improve upon it. We are heading up this weekend to attempt to stake it out and talk further with the builder. Being that we are on the water,, it will definitely be composite, not wood. Any help is greatly appreciated!
