Heracleum is similar to Angelica. Definitely could be a Heracleum species. You have 3 species in New York, and 2 of them are not native. One of them is that dreaded cow parsnip that can blister the skin and cause blindness. I'm not familiar with the differences.

It matches the native species Heracleum maximum. It's a nice plant, but very large. I've tried starting seeds for it a couple times with zero results. An excellent pollinator plant. Both kinds of foliage occur with this species, rounded and sharp pointed.
