Of course, the garden picture always winds, Debra. Just beautiful! I like Armed to the Teeth, Eye on a String, and Steven Scott Derrow. Both of the seedlings though very different look wonderful; nice white and "Blazing Fran" is a gorgeous color.

kay - My garden photos aren't as pretty as yours, since I don't have time to deadhead all those blooms. Those two seedlings do look very different. What they have in common is height. "Blazing Fran" is 40 inches tall this year, and the late white is 36 inches and growing taller every day.

No rain here either after high percentage teasing about it for yesterday and today. Foliage is showing strains of dry hot weather.

Your foliage looks good. Clumps are wonderful. August Frost is wonderful in that clump. Border Blessed is showing nice edges. The color on Steven Scott Derrow is so pretty. Love the seedlings in that color combo. The white seedlings appears to have nice ruffles! The garden shot is really pretty!

I agree with everyone elses comments. The white seedling is a defnite keeper.I'm not sure what is drawing me to Eye on a String. Maybe that green throat and the color contrast of the darker to lighter colors. Form is great. Now that garden pic is just a teaser, right? More coming of your wonderful gardens I hope.

Isn't it strange how some cultivars can be shorter than normal while others are actually taller? Our early winter was milder than normal, but spring had the late freezes that have become common now with climate change. Cultivars reacted in different ways, but generally negatively. Peak is always a busy time. Too much so to do all that deadheading and keep the lawn mowed.

They are all appealing. I particularly like Steven Scott Derrow. ............So in your garden shot (you might know I'd spot it), what is the golden yellow way in the back along the fence?...............Maryl

Maryl - The golden yellow on the back fence is Miss Goldie Gold Digger.

Mantis - The previous two years Faith That Moves Mountains was only 24 inches tall, so I was surprised when it towered over Sword of Justice, which has previously been much taller than FTMM.

Thanks Debra. I had a feeling it was. Mine is blooming now too. It made it over winter whereas the other Davisson yellow right next to it (Working Overtime) did not. It certainly stands out.....................Maryl
