Marble Counter Installation

I just had a white marble countertop installed on my L shaped kitchen and was devastated when I saw the seams in the stone. One at the corner and one at each corner of my drop in cooktop.

I was told the seams were unavoidable, but I was very surprised that a cut out could be made for my sink, but not the cooktop.

I’m not sure if my expectations were just too high, but these really take away from the look I was trying to achieve. The installer said he can try and fix it, which makes me very nervous. Can I get thoughts or advice? Is there is a company that specializes in fixing these kinds of issues (in Saint Louis, MO). Or if I need to have the counters completely replaced.
