need advice on bathroom fixture finishes

I have purchased a Polo Blue (BM) vanity for a small ensuite and love the look of gold on blue. But I have a chrome shower system. Can I go with a brushed gold faucet and hardware on the vanity? Should I mix in the chrome with the mirror or lighting fixtures? Should I just stick with chrome? I just can’t seem to visualize it all!
