I would never accept that…..looks terrible

That's why they're called "finish nails". They have little heads and you fill the holes with matching fill. The only mistake your contractor made was not filling these not-at-eye-level holes before you saw them. And his customer selection skills could use a little refinement too.

Wow. That was a little out of line. He says this is the finished product so I decided to ask other professionals on here.

He broke our bathtub and didn’t tell us, flooded our powder room, installed tile unevenly, and has overall been a bit of a disaster. I brought in a second contractor to fix electrical (that he messed up) and that contractor graciously told me the entire job was not good. I’m a lawyer but I won’t sue him. I could name him on social media but I won’t do that either. So, um, try again about the customer selection.

This colored crayon and felt pen came with our cabinets when we purchased them. The crayon is to fill nail holes like what you have and the felt pen is for scratches. I’m sure your builder can get ahold of the crayon in your cabinet color to fill.

Those are not acceptable and you said he also did your tile work. If he did your shower, I would be very concerned that he waterproofed the shower correctly. If not, you'll wind up having bigger issues in a few years.
