Of the two choices orange peel is better.

We have knockdown in our house and garage and I’ve always prefered knockdown to orange peel but it really comes down to what you like.

It is what you prefer. I would prefer smooth everywhere. Not a fan of any texture on drywall. We all like something different. You need to decide, what you like. As you can see, this is the third post down, and there are 3 different opinions. LOL

Oh no I would prefer smooth too, they said that wasn’t an option ;)
