Color varies so much by light and orientation that there's no way for us to judge from photos whether those will be "too purple" (plus we're not you and your too purple might be my not purple enough). But I strongly suggest that you paint some really big samples (I've used foam board from the craft store, 18x24"). Bigger samples will give you a better sense of the color over a large area. Make sure you look at the color in different parts of the room at different times of day. Maybe it's only too purple from 1:30 to 2:30 when the sun is at a certain angle, or maybe it looks its worst during the hours you spend the most time there. The color WILL change over the course of the day (and the year), and even if you make the best choice you can, it will probably be too purple at times and not purple enough at other times. It's the nature of paint colors.

FWIW, I think either color would look great (I'm partial to the Deep Caviar).
