Apple issues? I thought it was just me . . .

What the heck is going on with Houzz? Someone mentioned it wasn’t playing nicely with Apple devices. I would call that a major understatement. I appreciate very much that the forum is here, but seems there’s always some weird technical issue going on. I am on an updated iPad Air, if it matters.

Happening on chrome too. It started weeks ago after an apple update. I have had it at times on a few other sites too. I blame apple not houzz…

resetting my kepboard autocorrect fixed it. Here is a link. https://www.imobie.com/support/iphone-keyboard-not-working.htm

Thanks, @roarah. I just checked…there is an update. I connected my iPad, and am downloading now. Hopefully, this will fix the problem(s).

Okay, so I tried both the reset and the update. Nope. Still getting nonsense and disfunction, but only on Houzz boards.. Double words. No auto-punctuation, no autocorrect, and no autocap. If I dictate, it is truly hilarious. See below for a chuckle. Ah, well. First world problems indeed. And many thanks for the suggestions.

Make sure you restart your devices if they are not working correctly and also after doing an update. No problems on my iphone 11.

@Debra W…iPhones and iPads automatically restart after an update.. And, like @MizLizzie, I’m not seeing any difference after doing both suggested fixes.

I was too lazy to type all of the issues. Thankfully, MizLizzie did it for me. Everything she stated, is happening to me. Correcting all the mistakes is laborious, and time consuming. And, yes…this is only happening here, on this forum…not any place else.

While they do restart it's still a good idea to do it yourself when everything is done.

My phone works much better on houzz now after I reset and turned of the predicative text setting under keyboard setting. I still have type delays and freezes on certain apps. though.

Per roarah’s suggestion, I rebooted after updating. No change.
