Cacti & Succulents House Plants Garden

succulent propagation has roots! I think...

I have a Kalanchoe Tomentosa leaf which has a few strands growing out of the broken end; the shorter ones are white and the longer ones are an orange-brown color. I'm surprised because the leaf was not a good, clean cut. Should I mist these? Do they find the soil on their own or should I nestle them into the dirt? Thanks again!

Most leaves don't grow if cut, but kalanchoe leaves do. So that is ok... Usually, roots find their way into soil. If there are roots, watering could start. I don't mist, but water the soil - not the leaf...In the photo all the leaves were intact, but it works the same. And you can see that many are just laying on the surface.
