Many nurseries commonly stick 2, or more commonly 3 cuttings to root in one pot. So are you certain they're different?

My practice with those multiples was always to pot them up to one gallon, grow them on, and then cut them into 2 or three plants, and grow those up.

Thanks Jeri. I'm pretty sure they're not the same varieties because the mini I bought is lavender, and the other one is bright red. Their leaves look different too. Do you think I'd better to keep them to next year and cut them apart after the roots grow full of the pot?

Yeah. I think I would. Or wait until sometime in the winter, when they're not growing madly. Not sure how this happened, but how fun!

Hmm...I got two like this off ebay Feb 2 years ago, but I could not tell until a couple of months when I noticed I had 2 stems. One really took off and one got stunted. I seperated them around Sept. The stunted one has taken until now to get even close to catching up. They are both acting like Kordes roses, one red, one bright coral orange. (And the other 2 roses I got were Kordes.)
