Thanks for asking. I would choose function. Using a sink 3 times per day warrants convenience and excellent function based on your personal preference. I would also choose a black matte finish to coordinate with the 5 ft copper sink. You don’t need to repeat the appliance metal in anything except all the other major appliances. Since the black will be on all the plumbing features, you may, but do not have to, repeat the black (for example lighting or cabinet hardware).

I guess wanting and needing are in my mind very different and even in a commercial kitchen there are no 60" single bowl sinks. As for fuacets I agree black since the copper is going to need a lot of care you nmight as well go with taps that show every water mark,

Alternatively, you can get an independent side sprayer on one side of the sink? if you didn’t want 2 full faucets. I understand your frustration @James, but your sink is so unusual, you aren't likely to find people with the experience of 5' long sinks and what faucets they would use and recommend for them. I googled 60" sinks to see if there are pics online, but could find nothing. No need to get snarky.

I recommend you look at the Kohler Karbon faucet which Kohler frequently pairs with their 44" Prolific sink. For the faucets you show in your OP, the first one, the Brizo looks like it will not have the reach needed, even with 2 of them. The third pic, also a Brizo, is an ugly faucet IMHO and won't go with your copper sink (you'll probably get snarky again, but you asked for opinions). The Vigo - I would want to know the quality of it before buying it, as I am not familiar with that brand.

Why aren't you asking Dino Rachiele? Since he is making the sink, he must have some suggestions.

@Shannon_WI Dino already suggested some Waterstone faucets - but I'm not particularly in love with any of their options so am trying to broaden my horizons. The Karbon is interesting but maybe too contemporary for my space.

@elizabeth_eclectic I'd never seen a pull out sprayer with a dedicated mixing valve like that - what an interesting idea! Thanks for sharing. I loved those old drainboard sinks and that's one of the things that drew me to the big workstations, with the added benefit of being able to use the area where the drainboard would be for other things.

I suggest to read all the reviews on each faucet before deciding which one you will choose. I found researching reviews on kitchen faucets was quite helpful during my kitchen renovation choices❣️

I would recommend a black Brizo, they are well made faucets (I have 3 in my kitchen).

James, please revisit my comment. It was totally about the which faucet question you posted, ergo I don’t understand your later post “four comments and not one of them mentioned a faucet yet”.

I would suggest a shop hose that hangs from the ceiling is retractable so you can just pull it down and move it wherever you need it. You could probably get any color too, but perhaps black with copper or brass sprayer.

I learned something today as I’d never seen a workstation sink, impressive! Would love to see the copper pic, too. I love the black faucet, though you’re right @James there are so many cool choices. The Brizo looks modern, is that what would work with your overall kitchen style? Again, they are all beautiful. Have fun, and please share a pic when it is installed, would love to see it. @James, I'd take a look at photos of the 57" Ruvati and Kraus sinks to help you with faucet style ideas. Black or stainless would look beautiful. I have the 16" Kohler Artifacts at my 30" prep sink and highly recommend it for its different spray functions. With your sink I would do the taller Artifacts but it may be too traditional for you.

I would place the faucets 15" from each side so that there is enough space between them for two people to stand next to each other - in other words just treat it like it is two separate 30" sinks.

All Waterstone PLP Extended reach faucets will work on sinks up to 60" in most cases. They have the longest reach in the industry. They are fairly expensive, but you only need one!

I like the top one! It is the most unusual. And ditto what Rachiele said above. The Waterstone Gantry would probably work beautifully and comes in lots of finishes!

@Michelle - sorry, I find the Waterstone Gantry sink to be poorly proportioned, gangly, and pretentious. And costing $3,200-4,200 for that.

@James - it’s too bad @Michelle wrote that without reading the thread first. Evidently she believes your choice of sink is pretentious. I do not at all - your sink sounds great. I think the Gantry faucet is pretentious, but more importantly, its proportions are poor as I said.

Well, I'm glad about that, James. I like the Rachiele sinks very much myself and am considering one for my kitchen. (I just thought that was a very rude comment from Miranda.) The Gantry sink can possibly take care of needing two large faucets, and I think the faucet could possibly spray the entire thing down. The finishes are gorgeous in Waterstone faucets! And, personally, I prefer the contemporary Gantry (not the one posted by Miranda), but my kitchen/house is more contemporary than traditional. Good luck, James! Waterstone video The Waterstone video shows the reach on a 54" sink about half way through the video. You might be able to extrapolate the reach to a 60" sink by watching the video. The faucet in the video is a model 5500 Extended Reach Pull down faucet. I hope that helps you visualize.

James - Curious to know which faucet you chose. I am getting a 42" sink from Rachielle that can hold 15" sheet pans from front to back. I need an extended reach faucet so the spray will land in the middle of the sink and not on me and my counters. The Waterstones are beautiful but my SO doesn't want to spend that much. I couldn’t decide, so i decided to embrace some asymmetry in the short term and get two different faucets - the Vigo linked earlier in the thread, and a Hansgrohe Aquno. The Aquno has a gimmick of a wide showery type outlet at the bottom and I love a good gimmick.

I hope you will come back and show us photos of your new setup. It all sounds amazing.

@James This is a very helpful thread, as I am considering a SS sink in the same size. How do you like a sink of that size now that you've been using it? It sounds wonderful to me, but I am a little bit apprehensive since it's so much bigger than my current sink (which is around 32") and since I've never used a workstation sink. What led you to get 2 faucets? Dino recommended I do a single faucet, but I see pros and cons to single and dual faucet options. And show us some pictures!
