Need to know what you think of shelf over the toilet.

I'd say it's useful. Sometimes necessity helps lead our choices.

It's not awful, more attractive than some. Our niece had one in her wedding registry though. Their new build scheduled to be finished right about wedding time. We convinced her to add actual shelves while the contractors were still there working, skip the shelving unit.

Your unit is more tasteful than what she had picked out ;0)

I don’t care for open shelving in a bathroom. I like a streamlined look in a bathroom. I keep extra items in a linen closet right outside my bathroom. Essential items are kept in my bathroom vanity.

I find such things around toilets unhygienic, that is just me.

I would say I don't usually care for those, but that one is more attractive than most. My preference would be not to have it, but as sushi said more eloquently, sometimes necessity leads our choices.

If you do need something, that is a very attractive piece.

I don’t like shelves over toilets at all. I always feel like it’s on top of me or about to fall or like it’s hovering when I’m trying to do my business. Is this for your bathroom or a guest bath?

This is our first floor bathroom used by my elderly Mother and guests. It's a busy room and not as large as it should be.
