I’m a newbie Iris grower and have planted too many in the wrong places and now know I need to dig them up and shift things around a bit. Once I dig them up, trim and clean them through August - and prep the location to re-plant them, it will be early Sept. Is this too long to keep them out of the ground? and what is the best way to store them? Much thanks!!!! I’m in zone 9
