I have a 3 Ton Split Gas (410A, Txv), correct superheat (8), subcooling (10), Low pressure and suction temp (184/64 !), head pressure (351/107), Ambient 88F, Indoor Temp (80F), Delta T 9F, Blower motor at close setting of 1200 CFM, Static pressure total of 0.54 inwc.
I haven't done the TXV bulb test yet. Looks like someone replace the Txv a year ago. It could be low in charge?. Txv bulb is well attahed to suction line but not well insulated; could this cause the Higher suction pressure and temp? ... looks like the Txv is trying to have the superheat within range.
What are the possible causes of not getting the correct suction temperature and Delta T?
