Sorry. I guess I should have been more specific as to type of rose; I meant floribunda, grandaflora, climbing, etc.

The type is English rose or Austin Rose or shrub rose. :) :)

@rosecanadian Strawberry Hill is marketed as a climber, not a shrub rose 🙃

So CA Kate, you could think of it as a large flowered climber.

Magpie - LOL - someone should change it on hmf then. And I guess it depends on your zone...here it sure wouldn't be a climber...but in warmer zones...yup. :) :)

@rosecanadian Maybe so. I have one (though I've talked recently about how it's grown all of about 12" since planting the bare root) that I bought to be a climber, not realizing that in my zone... it probably won't climb 😅😅😅 But in CA Kate's zone 9, it should climb.

In case anyone still checks this thread, I got a couple new blooms and I’m so impressed! It’s still in its one gal David Austin pot, since I haven’t moved to my permanent location. It’s already very tall wanting to climb up the balcony stairs of my parents house 🤤
