I have another thread that explains our dilemma. Basically our GC hired a painter who painted the cabinet boxes and then painted the doors with two different containers of paint-matched (to BM) Sherwin Williams lacquer.

The result is that the boxes are a few shades of white off the doors.

The GC said he will have the boxes repainted, but not the doors. Keep in mind, everything is installed and from what I’m reading, we don’t want to have lacquer painted in the house. So that means if he’s only paining boxes, we will have two types of paint - doors are lacquer and boxes will be (who knows what - just not lacquer).

Thoughts from the pros?
