Can you compromise and go to a 6” with a Le Creuset? The quality is top-notch.

Lodge still makes mini skillets. You can achieve omelette-worthy non stick on cast iron if you're open to doing some seasoning,

• I found 5.4” pre seasoned cast iron on amazon. As Fori mentions I have a mini lodge skillet at home (not there now to measure). Here is a carbon steel pan I found Carbon steel non stick. This web site has a few small skillet you can search that appear to be induction capable.

I already have a tiny cast iron pan but it doesn’t work for my purpose. It’s for my husband for when he cooks his small veggie burger with no oil. Cast iron still need some oil and he just doesn’t understand how to use a cast iron pan, so non-stick is the way I have to go.

@nidnay - can you elaborate on the 5 inch constraintt? You can certainly fry a burger in a 8” non stick.

8” is simply much too large for this tiny burger he cooks and I have plenty of 8” pans already. I have a small induction hob set up in our scullery that’s used for the burger cooking and I leave the pan on it after it’s cleaned…..so don’t want a large 8” pan sitting there.

The cast iron pan I have is actually 6” and that size would be perfectly fine.

So I will change my 5” requirement to 6” :)

I have a 5" "blini" pan, carbon steel (so works on induction); but not non-stick. Maybe Google 'blini' skillet? Great for frying one egg or cooking one burger patty. Just a very tiny bit of oil (1 tsp perhaps).

I have had this Le Creuset non-stick pan for 5 or 6 years. I use it a lot, and the non-stick finish is still in perfect shape. They don't seem to make them smaller than 8 inches though.

@w0lley32….I’ve seen the Le Creuset pans and LOVED them, but they're too large. Would buy one in a heartbeat if it was the correct size.

I have an "Anolon Nouvelle Copper" non stick pan. It's an 8-1/2in. pan but the base is 6". I believe I bought it in Macy's.

I purchased the Winco 4-3/4" Enameled Carbon Steel Paella/Blini Fry Pan from Restaurant Supply….(thank you @Kim G!).….although the shipping cost more than the pan 😭

It’s pretty tiny, but that IS what I was searching for. My husbands burger fits perfectly in the pan, it works with induction, and is wonderfully non-stick….so we’re both happy!

Does it work on the hob illustrated? The photo gives the impression that the pan base is inside a minimum pan coil boundary circle. Maybe this cooktop has a pair of coils and the circle visible just below the pan edge is the boundary of the inner coil. If you don't mind me asking, what brand and model of cooktop is this?

@kaseki…. Yes, it works perfectly and yes there is another small coil. It’s not a full sized cooktop, but a small portable hob for use in our scullery/pantry.
