We’re having a carpenter doing exterior trim work, and he just installed placques for the new exterior sconces on the front of the house. I think they’re too high. I did a photoshop of the new lights set square on the placques, which are the same size as the back plate of the fixtures. Am I right? Or are they OK? I did a second photoshop of the lights one clapboard lower, which I think looks better. I can have him make a longer placque, but the top will show as it can’t be lowered due to the clapboard being already cut. TIA for input.
