Any ideas? From what I’ve read, I think acetone might be what I need to use?

Your marble is beautiful! I wouldn’t do anything myself. Call your fabricator and question them about it and let them deal with removing that sealer and putting on a different one if that one isn’t the correct kind. If you try to fix it yourself it may void the warranty.

Thank you both! I’m thrilled with the marble and so pleased with how it turned out. If I could just get this sealer residue off of it. I would just ask my fabricator but they insist they used the right thing. I did question them on it already. So we just don’t agree.

So I would like to see what other experts say and then maybe I can go back to them with that info.

the easiest way for a pro would be to simply re-hone with the final step, however I wouldn't expect someone that leaves sealer to dry on the surface to know how to do that without making a whole other mess

There is a product from MB Stone Care called Easy Scrub. This is designed to remove water spots (not etches), film, residue, etc. from a variety of surfaces. This will likely work for you, and at a minimum, is a cheap and safe way to start. You can evaluate from there.

Thanks everyone. The fabricator came back today and they used Laquer Thinner to remove the sealer. So it’s back to it’s original honed finish and it looks much better. Now I just need to find the right sealer and do it myself.
