Stair Runner ideas newly remodeled home.

Need ideas for stair runner. Walls are BM Revere pewter. Staircase is black iron with black rail and treads with white risers. My old runner will not work. (not that I wanted it too..lol) I'm curious as to the trend these days. Solid? Pattern? I am seeing lots of solids but they seem more casual. Its a bit more formal of an entry. Maybe some manufacturers or good lines I should check out? Hope to post photo soon staircase is being painted. TIA

Are you planning on changing the runner everytime a trend happens along? I need to see your home and what the spaces around the staircase look like not just the staircase.

No I’m not planning on changing every time. Last one lasted 10 years since we moved in. However the gold tones in the runner no longer work. As mentioned I will post a photo as soon as staircase is painted. Mostly interested in what companies make stair runners. Trying to do a little online research on specific lines. Not sure which kinds of carpet or manufacturers are best to look into.

Found the perfect runner! 100% wool and had the perfect design and color combo. Was sitting in the store just waiting for me to walk by. Easiest Design dilemma solved super easy by mere coincidence!
