They'll grow from cuttings and I get seedlings around the parent plants.. Quite easy to propagate.

Thank you. I tried cutting, no go. Will retry, encouraged by your information. Also, do the seedlings tolerate transplantion, in your experience?

Never tried transplanting seedlings, usually just pull them out. A while back I had a neighbour who cut back his Ixora and threw the trimmings on the compost heap. Noticed later a lot of the trimmings had started to grow. I've noticed that all the Ixora plants sold in nurseries come from cuttings.

Perhaps layering might work, I've often had sprouts come up from the roots.
