We were planning on planting some drought resistant plants on the road verge (narrow space between the sidewalk and street) with mulch or small stones , however we have a jacaranda planted in the middle which drops lots of leaves and dried pedals. Is it best to use a ground cover like silver carpet? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!
