IMO first do you have space for a free standing tub. It needs a min. of 12" all around and IMO more than that and test drive the ones you are thinking of. free standing tubs are a PITA to get in and out of and honestly my clients have found after checking out tubs that a nice deep saoker alcove or drop in a is just a nicer choice IMO any tub shorter than 60" is too short and if you can only firt a petite then IMO you do not have spac e. A 23" step over is not good.

My father got stuck in one of these types of tubs. It was slippery and he couldn't lift himself out. My mother and brother couldn't do it, either. It took the fire department to come and pull him out. As pointed out, they are a PIA to keep clean around the base area. While they look lovely, they lose on the practicality scale.

I suggest you test drive before you buy.

We used the petite one in a client project, she loves it. Fleurco is a good brand overall. My preference for tubs is always Bain Ultra but they are a little pricey. Oceania also has good tubs their process for spraying the acrylic is different from others, and is consistently applied unlike Mirolin and other cheaper brands. Fleuro is Canadian, which buying North American is always good to me.
