This kitchen was the first remodel I've ever been through and, being highly detail oriented and a real worry wort, it took a toll on me! However it is done and I love it. This forum really helped me to learn a lot about every aspect of this project. I used a cabinet designer (not full kitchen design) and that shop also did custom woodwork so my hood & shelves were custom made for me. I hired a GC for the build. The decision making on every element was mind-boggling! It mostly went well but I had a few issues along the way. Everything is resolved and I'm enjoying the way more functional space.
