I would paint up your storm door white since it needs paint, but, otherwise appears to be in good condition. . Leave the trim around it the trim color I would paint the floor a light gray similar to the steps, and would make the railing and the row above by the roof, all white too. If you want to leave that part the way it is, thats ok too. Then get some colorful furniture for the front porch. Also some pretty colorful hanging baskets along the front over the railings. I would look for some turquoise and red color in the cushions, and the pots, etc, and maybe a rug going to the door that also has a mix of those colors. You cant change the red on the roof, until it is new roof time, so play it up, and make it all look good together. Looks like a great place to have a nice colorful sitting area to me.

I wonder how it would look if you painted the door and all of the trim white ? Yes, you could paint under the porch a darker gray.

@cat_ky so you think I can get away doing the railing and row by the roof white when the trim around the windows is cream? id love to do white - I was just concerned with matching trim around windows. That trim is metal so I’d prefer not to paint it.

You do have white up by the eves, so it should all tie together. You could also paint it the lighter color cream, that is on the bottom part of the front porch. What is on there, now, has a dingy look, so if you pick cream, pick one that has a clean fresh look to it.
