Hello all, I'm hoping you can help me. I've got a treadle machine (treadle = v tight) but it is motorized. The fabric doesn't automatically feed through so I have to kind of pull it from the back to get things started. Am trying to piece some triangles on a first-time project because I am too ambitious and it's a nightmare to get things started. One workaround is to start halfway through the piece, stitch to the end, then flip it over and go the other way (hope that makes sense) but this is awkward. Was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to start piecing things on older machines that are a little wonky? Any help would be appreciated!
