Need help for my kitchen bay window!

I have a rather large kitchen window and though I have added pots and some greens, it looks bland. How can I spruce it up?

How about some colored glass vases that the sun will shine through?

Or put some colored glass balls or lemons in the glass container you already have there??

It just seems like most of the things you have here are SMALL and then you need MORE.......try something larger, as in the clock on the wall and even larger plants.

Colored glass balls is creative, never thought of that, can you point me to where tk find those , what size etc

I am thinking about baseball size or maybe some ping pong ball size, too. I believe Pier One has some.

What colors are good in kitchen, and what color for pots... I wish to keep it to one or two color. What indoor plants are good, I was thinking herbs, but will they grow tall?

An herb garden there is a great idea! You would have the light right there and it would be soooo handy to use. Plant them in a big colorful pot and you will be fine. BIG COLORFUL

Here's a nice look ... paint the window frames in dark brown or black, add a roll-up bamboo blind anchored by a chunky upper molding. Adjust the style of the molding to match the design of the kitchen.

rosemary, lavender and chives can grow tall, with rosemary able to take on topiary shapes. Try placing your nursery pots in a variety of cache pot shapes to contain drainage.
If you have very sunny conditions, you might also look at fruit trees like kumquat, or miniature citrus:

Maybe some artwork or a shelf above the window with some pottery on it would help to create a more pulled together look....
