IMO East facing is a poor position since the sun rarely is hot enough for real solar heat in the early morning. Waht size and type of pool is the first question . We have a solar heated above ground pool that is 30 x10 feet 4.5 ft deep we used Enersol panels have had them for 14 yrs in S B.C, Canada where we get lots of snow and up until this year not one issue , we will replace them next year with the same system it is affordable and easy to use and install. We have a lot of sun in the summer and the panels face due south we also have a deck all around out house and the pool if that is an issue .
