I would think the non-match you would want would be nickel, rather than something as intense as the black. But some gold tone might work too.

I wouldn't try to match it. If you wanted satin gold pulls, I don't think they would be close enough to the faucet to show a color difference though. Maybe do the cabinet pulls in something less of a contrast with the white cabinets and let that beautiful faucet be the jewel in the kitchen!

All of your comments are very helpful, and I appreciate the compliments on the faucet! What I’ve taken away from everyone’s advice is that black would probably be too stark of a contrast while any shade of gold other than an exact match would look like I’ve tried to match and missed. I do mostly see gold tones mixed with silver tones when I research this mixed metal concept on HOUZZ. I still haven’t decided, but I’ll be sure sure to post pics once I do! In the meantime, please feel free to continue to send your advice!

I think I might try to do an exact match by using a Rub and Buff gold color paint, they have so many to choose from. Spray with a clear coat to seal it.

Look into the Polished Nickel. It has a warm silver patina, like 'sterling silver'. I was thinking of using it on my white kitchen cabinets. The warm tone might look good with the gold faucet but not contrast too much either.
