Did you check pages 35-36 of the User Manual?

Thanks for your response. Those pages are all about cleaning? I looked all through the manuals and couldn’t find anything.

Pages 35-36: "Surface burner makes clicking noises"

It’s the igniter that continues to spark even after the burner is on.

Now that you have had your range for awhile? How do you like it? Any regrets?

Just chiming in to say thank you! Same exact problem with a 36" FM ranhe and yes it was the polarity of the outlet. Not sure how you figured it out but we are indebted to you!
