I think you did a great job. Although I'm not too fond of all the plants near the bed. I would add a pillow with some green. I'm looking at this

I would go with a greyish blue rug and some pattern cushions in the same blue, gray and cream. The lamps shoud be taller with a light cream shade. Adding some curtains too, tone on tone cream or light gray. You need also a comfy bed throw, faux fur or wool.

You could get creative/colorful with pillows, a bed throw, etc. For lamps, are you wanting taller ones? These are good-looking and not too tall:

Accent pillows from Crate and Barrel. I don’t know budget, so all just general ideas:

I would install upholstered panels to create a headboard for the bed. If funds are tight, then I might just paint a contrasting color band to create a pseudo headboard for the room.

Consider getting low to the ground nightstands for either side of the bed and swing arm wall lamps.

Add texture and perhaps color with the rug selection. Here are a few selections for you to see their impact on the room.

So here's what I suggest.

Pick your rug first.

Then let those colors inform the rest of the room.

You do need to decide whether you want an authentic Oriental carpet or a cheapo machine made imitation.

Clearly, you see my bias.

Why buy inferior quality garbage that will fall apart in a few years and that marks you as someone who just doesn't know quality?

But the real thing.

They are just not that pricey anymore.

Furthermore, since most of the rug will be hidden under the bed, you can get a fabulous hand-knotted rug with some minor flaws in areas that will be hidden under the bed.

You can get a hand-knotted Persian or a hand-woven nomadic or Caucasus rug.

There are many colorways, you don't need to do the ones that I illustrate here.
