New concrete pool shell has puddles.

We hired a highly reviewed contractor with a lot of references to build our pool, and I think they're doing an amazing job so far. They seem very meticulous about everything.
This week they did the concrete shell and I had some questions
I noticed in the shallow end after a rain, there was about an area about 8x8 ft that retained a puddle 1 to 2 in deep.
Now obviously when full, the water will be circulating from all the returns etc, but will this area tend to collect sediment out be harder to keep clean?
In my opinion layman opinion, it's a minor issue, but I could imagine having issues with leaves or sediment collecting here instead of making its way down to the bottom drains. with it being so easy to address now, should I ask the contractor?I was hoping to get some opinions here before called then.
Seems like a super easy fix with two or three 40lbs bags of self-leveling concrete or whatever
Thanks guys
