What affects the fan noise?

Hello, every one! I'm looking now for a low noise fan. I've found some interesting models of different brands. But I'm interested to know what really effects their noise?

    1. Speed. It's better to buy a fan with a speed controler.

    2. Some of the noise you will hear from your inline fan will pass through the ducting. And the best way to deal with this kind of noise is to use insulated.

    You get to deal with the noise before it escapes from the ducting.

    If you don’t have insulated ducting, go ahead and buy them on Amazon. Choose to ducts with the same diameter as your inline fan.

    3. Look for fans with a silencer. In the market, you will find silencers designed to be attached between the carbon filter and exhaust fan. All the silencers have a muffler that absorbs noises coming from your inline fan. So, the noise will be dealt with before it causes any disturbance.


    And I think that it would be better to buy an expensive one, if you are looking for a fan with love noise.
