Hi! I am having a built in entertainment center installed in my living room. I will be painting them myself and have narrowed it down to two color choices, one is Dunn Edwards White Picket Fence and the other is Benjamin Moore Steam. I am wondering what is better for cabinets, doors and trim between Dunn Edwards Aristoshield and Ben Moore Advanced. Would appreciate any feedback as well as pros and cons of each. I plan to use my HPLV sprayer and they will be primed with BIN.
In 2010, I painted my kitchen and bath cabinets but I can’t remember what I used; only that the primer was BIN. I will at some point be repainting all of the cabinets in whatever I paint the built ins with. When I do that, is it roughly the same process as starting from scratch. Clean, sand, prime, sand, paint, sand, paint?
