I think it will depend on the size of the slab and the size of the place it is going It could be possible to cut this to work so that the grain stays the same cut like an L shape so that a seam would not be in the corner .Ask the fabricator what can be done

Be prepared for needing a second slab from the same run in order to keep the flow. Or just shrug and say who cares if the flow doesn’t happen with the L. It’s a beautiful stone.

You have to pick ONE direction for the veining to flow, and buy an extra slab.

We had a similar dilemma in a previous home. Our fabricator was able to cut the slab in an L so we wouldn't have a corner seam in the peninsula. Have you asked your fabricator if that's possible? It may also depend on the length of your counter run.... Good luck - beautiful slab!
