We can tell absolutely nothing from one picture of a shower. What does "as expected" mean? Where is the vanity? The rest of the room?

Hi thanks for the reply. We thought it would look nice but it somehow looks a bit weird…that’s “not as expected”😂it’s a new house that is still under construction, I’ll try to add more pictures next time. This is not master bath, it’s rarely used.

Honestly.........................what's the flooring, what is the vanity counter top? It's half done, you have a shower......there's a ( let me pray ) protective cover on the vanity top. What IS that top you selected?

Have you got a mirror, free hang? What's the light if there is one? At this point it is a partially finished 5 x 8 bath......with no other details so we can't read your mind. We still have zero clue as to exactly what is bothering you. I can tell you black framed doors are............: ) So. Beyond that? What?

You might have build exhaustion, and nothing more than that.

I have to be the third person to say I don't care for the black framed doors. Maybe if you painted the room a darker color it would all blend in better, but then it might have all the appeal of a cave. If it is a secondary bathroom maybe don't worry about it for a while and change the shower doors later if it really bothers you.

We will have a mirror but it’s not there yet. The builder won’t let us remove the protective cover. This is all I have right now. Will post more pictures once we’re allowed the remove the covers! Thank you all!

I like the tile, so many ways you could go, personally I would go with decor/towels ect that pick up the pretty green

You can't paint the metal door frame. It's a glass/frame re do. You MUST know what you selected for flooring, ( pale gray I see around toilet ? ) and what you selected for a top. ?? Did you pick a mirror? A light? You have links, pictures..something.

There is a mirror and a light, which are builder’s choose and come by fault. I plan to change the mirror and light regardlessly, because I don’t like the quality, so we can assume that I do not have those, and I’m open to any style of mirror and vanity/wall light that you suggest! I also place the change the faucet and shower head, so I’m open to any suggestion! Regarding the selecting for flooring, yes it’s the pale gray around toilet. The top color is just pure ivory without any pattern. Overall, please recommend decorations (including vanity light, mirror, art work, shower head, faucet) and I’m open to replace/purchase any of those because I plan to change them regardlessly.

I like the black doors. And I like the tile too. Someone mentioned green tile but on my screen it looks like shades of gray, maybe blue-gray.

Repeat the black in the mirror frame, black and white photo art etc. I see you already have black in the vanity door handles. I'm assuming your floor and counter top are fairly neutral. Don't add too much other stuff, and let the tile be the interesting decor item in the room.

Tell the builder right now, do NOT glue any mirror to the wall, They do not need to install it, you close without a mirror. Otherwise you will have a drywall mess on your hands.

What is the vanity with? 36 inches?

What is the ceiling height? Eight feet?

What do you now have for a faucet? $ inch spread, single hole? Eight inch spread?

Why is the counter top "ivory" ??? The vanity is white?

It's an ok start - the tiles and frame look neatly arranged... the tiles extend the same amount in front of the doors. Both have a current look.

I can see a black faucet, near to vanity handles. The door has eye-level black, so imo black mirror might be one too many.

The tile and shower door are not bad. It's the builders grade vanity that needs to be replaced. If you're going to put in any of the faucets that @everdebz suggests, then please change the vanity to something more sophisticated.

If rarely used, treat it like a "jewel box" powder room. Use 4000K LEDs and paint it black like the shower trim. Let the tile be the star. You could add a simple black/white charcoal line drawing over the toilet. All white linens and a decorative piece of something red somewhere.

it's busy, so choose really simple accessories. towels and bath mats that have zero pattern to them. I like the black faucets above. consider also a black matte framed mirror with a very simple frame. try a round or arched mirror for a change. OR try a square mirror hung diagonally, to match the tile pattern. it might look great, or it might look cheesy. you could always rehang or return it!

and then take a breather and give yourself some time. you might be overwhelmed because it's so new and different. the pic you posted is of a dusty, unfinished room with blue and red tape all over the place. it's going to look so much better when it's finished and cleaned up.
