Thanks, Jeri. I look forward to this issue of the "Rose Letter" as I do with all of them! My mail comes very late in the day (after work) , so I usually get to sit down and read it soon after arrival.

Redbird, the last of the issues went to the Post Office this morning. And I really WOULD love to hear how long it takes to get there.

We have always had a few International members, but now, I guess, the USPS has said they they won't deliver letters to other countries!

So, any new subscriptions from outside the U.S. will probably have to be digital.

Jeri, I got mine in our mail today - San Rafael, in Northern CA. If you mailed it early on Sat, that means it took 5 days to be delivered, but minus Sunday, that is 4 days. That is just barely OK between So Cal and No Cal, but especially since it went between 2 population centers.

Thank you, Jackie. Yours was, indeed, mailed early Saturday morning. And yes. That's "barely OK" but I am afraid it's going to be SOP now. Moreover, note that it took 78-cents to carry it, and we already know that another increase will come soon.

But I really did need that information, so I truly appreciate it.

Ann, I think that as messed up as the USPS is right now, on-line looks better and better. (And CHEAPER for the subscriber, too.)

I SHOULD NOTE:

We've just found out that Paypal isn't honoring "Friends and Family" discounts . . . That means that they take a buck out of what they pay to US. <GRRRR>

For print-and-mail, that takes the membership fee below what it costs us! (Doesn't matter so much with digital.)

PayPal is pretty tight with that discount in my experience. I just renewed with PayPal but I have to remember not to use them next year!

Online newsletters are fine as far as I'm concerned.

Hey, Jeri. I forgot to post at the time, but I believe mine arrived on Monday, November 1 (possibly Tuesday). So, it got across the country pretty quickly. It has been a pleasure to read, as always.

As far as hard copy versus online...I really prefer the hard copy and will always be willing to pay extra for it if y'all are willing to publish and send it. It's the best size; I can hold it it my left hand while holding my coffee cup in my right :)
