PPF. Thank you for your input. We have had two different HVAC contractors out and neither offered any repair or replacement options. We have written to the Condo Manager and they have responded as if we are trying to hold the Condo Association responsible which is clearly not the case. We were simply asking if anyone else had submitted any architectural applications for the installation of something that would work for his unit.

Andrew M. Thank you for your input as well. I have exchanged numerous emails with Suburban and Airxcel over the years. They indicated "This unit has been out of production for a number of years and unfortunately there is no replacement nor substitute unit available."

I continue to hope for a new option that will fit in the tight parameters between the ceiling joist.
