I like the more forward pattern as well. But with a stronger pattern you need to have a lot of confidence in the craftspeople who cut and install your slabs. Will you be seeing the actual slabs and the layout before installation?

I still prefer the borghini pattern. Though it has a bolder vein, I prefer the quiet cleaner background.

I really do too @P Banos - just wish emerstone was a more transparent major brand with more details on their website etc….

Yes have definitely seen that one :/ though there seems to be similsr ones re LG viatera…. and even some re inconsistencies and issues with cambria etc… @P Banos

We've had our quartz counter about 7 years and it looks identical to new. I mostly clean with plain water and a soft cloth. We went with Quartz Master as it's made near to home.

Please look at real stone instead of plastic for counters .

Honestly? Neither. Just so bland and blah. You've got white cabinets, so the sky is pretty much the limit in terms of color choices. I'm partial to natural stones -- granite, quartzite, soapstone, etc. So, so, so many choices. If you want a marble look, get the real deal -- quartz will never mirror the beauty of natural marble. But, if you're married to the idea of quartz, you can do better -- a charcoal would look nice with white cabinets, but here again you have so many choices even in quartz.

I tend to agree that both are rather blah, but with white on white, you can have a fun backsplash!
If you re leaning toward the bolder pattern, make sure you understand how any seams will be done and are comfortable with how it will look. I have seen many a thread where the owner expected more of a book matched seam like you can get with natural stone and was sorely disappointed

There are many choices of white stones, not the least of which is marble. But some gorgeous white quartzites, too.

Which did you pick? I am interested in one of the Emerstone colors too, but haven't been able to price compare with Hanstone or LG Viatera yet.

hi @bennette4796 i ended up going with the LG Adagio Gold. I'm thrilled with it. The white tones of the LG looked better with my cabinets/floors than the emerstone. Plus I just wasn't comfortable with the lack of clarity and info from emerstone around their certifications (or lack of).

@Kathryn B do you have pics of finished product?? Adagio Gold os one of my finalists, and there arent many ”in the wild” pics. Also got concerned with the Viatera quality posts. Any feedback welcome :)

SUPER happy with the adagio gold i like having more going on in the background, but not too bold

@Kathryn B it looks great!!!! it doesnt look like the gold veining is overwhelming, and a nice grey! We have warm oak 90’s cabinets, so I was thinking the warmth of subtle gold would be nice, but the white and grey would make it a little more modern French country until we do something with the cabs. Our installer said they just got Adagio Gold in, so we’d be the first job to use it. Wanted to trust my gut, but nice to see some non-brochure photos/not such a small sample. Thanks for posting!
