Can we see the table

If you’ve got beautiful wood, I think Rubio is worth going for. Just be sure not to sand past 150 grit (120 will likely give a stronger bond). I just refinished my own dining table with it, and it’s gorgeous. Personally, I decided I’d rather sand and re-coat a spot/stain than try never to scratch a poly by using cloths and pads, never really enjoying the wood itself. (I’m seriously delighted to be giving my tablecloths away.)
