Table too short for dining chairs

Bought a MCM table and bought my chairs separately. Measurements were close so I hoped they fit but they didn't! The chairs came with floor protectors and the table was a little shorter than the measurement, so the chairs are about 3/4 inch too high to fit under the table. They knock the side of the table when I push them in, and I would like if they slid under and hit the wood panel beneath the table top instead. Don't want to dent the table top. Ideas to raise my table? I've been looking for leg extenders, but they are all chunky and/or 2" plus high. Sawing the chair legs isn't an option and I don't have tools to cut and then screw in DIY extenders.

Would prefer only to raise about 1" and still keep the MCM tapered leg took.
