what does the seller say about it?

It looks like the plant was damaged awhile ago and has scabbed over. Usually I see this only on the big thick leaved Echeveria. Def not scale or mealybugs. The new growth looks healthy and no deformities. Eventually those damaged leaves will work their way to the bottom and dry up as the plant grows, and they will be no more.

Sometimes when an Echeveria gets a little too much water they will get edema and it will cause blisters on the leaves that will scab overtime, but I don’t think thats what this is.

Ahh edema makes sense thank you. I haven’t asked the seller yet but i did take pictures of them right out of the box with that intention- just hated to seem like I was complaining before knowing what it was - but you’re right I probably should. Thanks!
