1929 Period Correct Light Switches?

Hey all, I live in a 1929 Cape Cod house that I'm doing some improvement work on. I repainted the interior and while doing that I decided that the light switches need to go. A previous owner installed the modern rocker/'decora' style switches which don't match the house at all. I want to replace them, but I'm not sure what to use. I think I've narrowed it to two options - either push buttons or brown/bakelite-colored toggles. Which type is more period correct? From my research it seems like the 20s were kind of a transition period where both styles were in use. Does anyone else have a similar era house or more experience on this that could help me out with deciding? Thanks!
