Style? Budget? Seats?

You’ll have a rug, right? What do you mean by “texture?” How high are your ceilings? Will you use the table daily, or infrequently enough that you can keep a nice centerpiece, runner, etc on it? What about a light fixture?

Budget is up to $1500-2000. Style is flexible. 6 seats.

we will likely have a rug. Ceilings- not sure how high- average height I guess? We may do a skylight instead of a light fixture. We will use the table daily. By texture I mean material

If you post pictures of the room and any adjacent rooms you will probably get better advice. Since you're going to be remodeling your kitchen, an inspiration photo showing approximately the look you're going for would help. What is leading you to buy a new table before doing the kitchen?

I don't know why you would want a marble table anyway...brrrrrrrr and stains.

Try a concrete table. I have one and love the look...make sure it is sealed.

That is a very tight budget for that size. i would wait for after kitchen remodel and save up

Can you post a picture of the room and the materials for your remodeled kitchen you will be doing?

Thanks everyone for the advice! Good suggestions and starting points. We don't know the kitchen design yet... we're in early stages but really wanted to purchase a dining room table now to be able to host people.
